MIGE MILL
This mill is now classified in the inventory of historical monuments.
On the RN 151, between Auxerre and Clamecy, near Migé, you will see this beautiful mill built in 1794 by Edouard Dautin. Functional until 1895, it is now listed as a historical monument. Managed by the association A tire d'Aile which restored it and opened it to visitors, it has a real specificity: it is the only mill in the Yonne to still grind its grain by the force of the wind alone! Note that - as a link between past and future - the association also proposes the visit of the wind farm located next door.
