ÉGLISE DU CHRIST-ROI
The spire of this church built from 1925, culminates at 60 m
Built from 1925 and inaugurated ten years later, this church was created on the initiative of the then parish priest who wanted a large and majestic building to make it a national pilgrimage site for the railway world and the many travellers stopping at the Laroche-Migennes railway station. A subscription allowed the construction of this church of Christ the King, partly built in reinforced concrete, a first in France! Its spire is 60 m high, and you can also see a 6 m high statue of Christ the King.
