ÉGLISE SAINT-PANCRACE
The church has a porch flanked by two turrets, which is unique in the region.
Built on a hillside in the upper town of Migennes (le Vieux Migennes), the church of Saint-Pancrace finds its origins in the 12th and 13th centuries. Its porch (which dates from the 16th century) is flanked by two turrets, presenting a unique layout in the region: the turrets and the traces of a drawbridge bear witness to the defensive vocation of the building at the time. Four mural paintings (15th and 16th centuries) are also to be discovered. As for the bell tower, it dates from the end of the 18th century. A very beautiful monument.
