Just a 5-minute drive from Pontigny Abbey, stop off at Soleil d'or: a hotel with very comfortable rooms, but also an excellent bistronomic restaurant run by Chef Matthias Dias Gonçalves. Everything here is homemade, using local, seasonal produce. And with great inventiveness! On the day of our visit, for example, we feasted on delicious oeufs en meurette, followed by a quasi de veau de la Ferme de Clavisy with morels and asparagus. A festival of flavors! As for the welcome, it's always adorable and efficient.
