Church built in the middle of the 12th century, according to Viollet-le-Duc. A true architectural jewel in Montreal.
To get to the Collegiate Church, you will have to climb to the top of the village. There, facing the building, you will dominate the valley in a superb panorama. Built in the middle of the 12th century, the church is, according to Viollet-le-Duc, "a real architectural jewel". A very beautiful example of the Burgundian Romanesque art, like Paray-le-Monial or the Pierre-qui-Vire. Not to be missed, the alabaster altarpiece decorated with seven bas-reliefs and the 26 oak stalls as well as the 8 bas-reliefs and 5 groups in the round, executed during the first half of the 16th century.
