CHÂTEAU DE PLESSIS-SAINT-JEAN
16th century castle built on the ruins of a fortified house and renovated in the neo-Gothic style, housing a lounge with 18th century woodwork.
Built in the 16th century on the ruins of a fortified house, this elegant castle (surrounded by a 15th century moat, itself spanned by a Renaissance bridge) was renovated in 1830 in the neo-gothic style. Occupied by the Germans during both wars, it remained abandoned for a long time before being looted. In the course of its restoration, a lounge with 18th century woodwork was discovered. Note that you can visit the departure of the underground, and make a tour in the dungeons!
