A forest of myths and legends.
Myths and legends await the visitor who wanders through the Duc forest. Property of the Duke of Burgundy, it is one of the oldest French state forests. Among the sites to discover, the rock of the Fairies, made up of imposing blocks of stone overhanging the Cure, which only fairies, deities of the fountains for the Morvandiaux, could have had, unless the Gallic druids had used them to operate some sacrifices. The rock of La Pérouse, the highest point of the Yonne, will reward the walkers with a magnificent view on the Morvan and its landscapes. A hiking circuit along the deer park will delight families.
