This church is home to a monumental mural painting, the Tree of Jesse, painted in 1500

Saint-Bris-le-Vineux is a wine-growing village brimming with architectural treasures. And the church is one of them. Its origins date back to the5th century, when the bishop Saint Germain is said to have discovered the graves of Saint Prix and Saint Cot, two martyrs, and had a chapel built there. Built in the 12th and 13th centuries, it was rebuilt throughout the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries. The choir features a monumental mural painting of the Tree of Jesse, painted in 1500.
