In this chapel in the hamlet of Bailly, on the banks of the Yonne, the Georges Hosotte art gallery exhibits the paintings of this painter who was born in 1936 in Paris and who settled in Irancy in 1964. He became famous for his landscapes with cherry blossoms and poppies, straight out of the surrounding countryside. The artist celebrates, with his colorful palette, the beauty of the seasons and the wine villages of the Auxerrois. Note that two other galleries celebrate Georges Hosotte's paintings: one in Irancy, the other in Vézelay.
