Cave offering a walk between the cliffs of the Côte de Char, with six entrances, four of which lead to a large room
Less famous than their neighbors in Arcy-sur-Cure, the caves of Saint-Moré offer a walk between the cliffs of the Côte de Char, to be done with the whole family. The most remarkable one is the Nermont cave which contains traces of human activity from the Bronze Age with various vases and spoons. This cave has six entrances, four of which lead to a large room. Other caves such as the Marmot hole, the Father Leuleu cave, the Mammoth cave, the Weaver cave, the Man cave and the Fishermen's cave complete the site. The excavations began in the 19th century.
