Sylvie Wlotkowski began pottery in the 1970s and trained in France, the United States, Great Britain and Vézelay before settling in Saint-Père. She works in stoneware, clay from Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, influenced by the work of the clay in France and Japan. Her glazes are made from local minerals, vegetable ashes and metallic oxides.
