A site with a reception and discovery center that exhibits the main features of human societies over time.

1.5 km south of Saint Père, the site of the Fontaines Salées owes its name to the resurgence of salt water springs that were captured 4,300 years ago (Final Neolithic) by means of oak casings that are still in place. The remains of a vast thermal bath dating from the 1st to the 3rd centuries of our era, still testify to the continuity of human occupation. The reception and archaeological discovery center, recently created on the site, exposes the main features of human societies spread over time, from the Neolithic to Antiquity.

Lugar arqueológico que muestra la fuente salina romana. Aquí los antiguos romanos venían no sólo a tomar un baño sino también a relajarse o incluso a discutir temas importantes de estado. La entrada cuesta 6 euros para los adultos y hay explicaciones en cada punto.
