In 2023, Colette would have been 150 years old. Housed in the Château de Saint-Sauveur, this museum immerses us in the life of the great writer. Photos, personal collections, a recreation of part of her Palais-Royal apartment... Coming here is like spending a moment with the writer! Visit the temporary exhibitions, stroll through the superb park and stop off in the former kitchen, which houses the museum's boutique and tearoom. Concerts and meetings are also frequently organized.

Le musée se situe dans un ancien château à St Sauveur en Puisaye. Très bien documenté ( photos articles vidéos enregistrements film et témoignages) il retrace la vie de cette femme aux multiples talents et très en avance sur son époque. Nous avons bien aimé.

The domain and chateau looks bice and it was a nice spring walk however, I am not able to rate the museum because it was closed. It's quite annoying to drive 40 minutes to visit it and arrive there only to find it closed until April 1st. There is no mention of this on their website or on google. It takes 5 minutes to update the opening hours.

Très déçu …sur le site ils annoncent une ouverture jusqu’au 6 Novembre, arrivé sur place on voit que le musée est fermé à partir du 31 octobre! Beaucoup de route pour rien. Dommage… nous ne sommes pas les seuls à s’être retrouvé devant une porte fermée !!
