La Table d'Epona" (the restaurant of the new 4* hotel in Senone) welcomes you in a refined wooded decor. At the helm is Burgundian chef Jérôme Fertel (formerly of "La Lucarne aux chouettes" in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne). He offers tasty bistronomic cuisine based on fresh, local produce. It's hard to resist the Bourguignon de boeuf en effilochée and its crispy purée, or the Croustillant de volaille fermière façon Gaston Gérard, for example. We also like the terrace, very pleasant in fine weather.

Un scandale
Une énorme déception : un apéritif avec un champagne éventé, des portions ridicules et peu savoureuses : le médaillon de canette (3 bouchées !) difficile à couper et à mâcher , une brioche perdue...sans doute depuis longtemps, le tout pour 45€/personne ! A fuir !
