HÔTEL D'UZÈS
Superb mansion with a space dedicated to the Chevalier, accommodation and a wine bar.
Built in the 16th century, this superb mansion was the birthplace in 1728 of the famous Chevalier d'Eon, Louis XV's spy. Since 1879, the Hôtel d'Uzès has been owned by a bank. Until recently, it was owned by Tous au Château, a company working to renew Tonnerre's tourist offer and renovate the premises. Its opening, scheduled for 2024, should feature a space dedicated to the Chevalier. Eventually, tourist accommodation will also be offered, as well as a tea room and wine bar.
