A former marathon champion, Sylvie Bonnet gave up athletics some twenty years ago to train at the Ecole lyonnaise des plantes médicinales. Just outside the hamlet of Les Vergers, on a 6-hectare estate, she now cultivates some sixty plants and flowers to extract her herbal teas, balms, syrups, salts and other macerations. Above all, she shares her knowledge through courses and introductory workshops. Her Jardin de Simples is open to visitors every Saturday between mid-May and mid-September (by appointment). We love it!
