CHÂTEAU DE RATILLY
13th century fortified castle with 6 towers, with pottery workshop and hosting concerts, film screenings, exhibitions
This fortified castle of the 13th century still displays its six towers and its moat, now dried up. During the Renaissance, its defensive aspect was abandoned, but its superb fireplace remains the most beautiful testimony. It will house Jansenists in the eighteenth century. Since 1951, it has been an unmissable meeting place for art lovers. Concerts, film screenings, exhibitions and courses (yoga, piano, watercolour...) are often organised there. Don't miss the pottery workshop of the Pierlot family, the owners of the place.
