Enter the Maison du Chanoine, located in the hamlet of Chaineau near Treigny, and you'll be witness to the great history of Poyaud pottery. Its many buildings once housed 2 ancient utilitarian pottery factories, of which 2 recumbent kilns from the 18th and 19th centuries remain. Recently, La Maison (superbly renovated) has added a new space: a former barn dedicated to exhibitions and other cultural events. Exhibitions by ceramic artists are held here all year round.
