AU BON PAIN
At the foot of the main street leading up to the basilica is "Au bon pain". Rich in local specialities such as gougère (to be eaten lukewarm) and a wine maker's bread that you bite directly on the way out, this is an address to try out absolutely. In the summer, you can have an ice cream to refresh yourself, which is not a luxury when you have to climb the eternal hill. You will also appreciate the many regional products on offer, which you can take home with you on the way back to continue enjoying the Burgundian delicacies once you get home.
