We are far from Carnac and its famous menhirs. However, in the Aillantais there are some too! Classified at the request of Paul Bert (then General Councillor of the Yonne for the canton of Aillant-sur-Tholon) and located in the middle of a field in the area known as Les Grands-Ourdons, these megaliths attest to a land occupation dating back to the Palaeolithic and Neolithic. A very unusual place, which even the natives don't always know. Run there: you'll amaze them!
