The Abbey of Relec is one of the rare witnesses of Cistercian architecture in Brittany. Founded in 1132, it consists of a large Romanesque church, remains of the cloister and a monumental fountain. The abbey church, classified as a Historic Monument, is a building worth a visit. The surrounding park, with its ponds and meadows, is also very pleasant. Many (paid) activities are offered during the year at the Abbaye du Relec, including a temporary exhibition linked to the garden. From June 1st to November 3rd, you stupid... brassicas ! looks at this complex family that includes vegetables as diverse as cabbage, radish, mustard and wallflower. A permanent exhibition, La fabrique du potager, is also dedicated to different ways of creating a vegetable garden through four mini-spaces.
Finally, concerts take place regularly within the abbey walls, such as Voix en choruses, which bring together the choirs of Finistère on 16 and 23 June, or the 13th edition of the Arrée Voce festival, from 25 to 28 July. More unusual: Bat Nights are offered on July 18, August 8 and September 7,
