This convent has evolved over time. It was first created at the end of the 17th century, with the approval of Pope Urban, by nuns dedicated to St. Clare. Then, this convent served as a barracks, then received refugees after the Second World War. It was then restored at the end of the 20th century. Today, you will find the Conservatoire de Musique René Guizien, the École de Dessin et d'Arts Plastiques de Fougères Communauté and the Albert Bourgeois Art Gallery. This one is open to all and you can regularly find temporary exhibitions.
