ST LEONARD'S CHURCH
In the heart of the upper town of Fougères, near the shopping streets, you will not want to miss this imposing church with its flamboyant neo-Gothic façade. Built in the 12th century, it is very well preserved. Inside you will discover superb stained glass windows featuring saints from the region. In one of the side chapels on the front ninth, you can admire the oldest stained glass window in Brittany, which features an episode from the life of Saint Benedict. In summer you can discover a collection of polychrome wooden statues of saints installed in the church bell tower.
