Between Fougères and Mont-Saint-Michel, the Couesnon valley crosses the region in a groove in the granite massif. Here you can discover the bocage and the Couesnon, an 80 km-long river that rises in Mayenne and flows into the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel.
