OFFICINE À RHUM
It is impossible not to mention the Rum in the Falklands, since we are necessarily thinking of the famous transatlantic race that links the Breton port to Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe every 4 years since 1978. The race was also created in part to highlight the sugar producers of Caribbean rum.
In this exotic grocery store, William, the manager, has been officiating since 2018 and passes on his passion for the flavours of spirits. Bartender for nearly 20 years, notably at La Belle Epoque in Saint-Malo, he offers an impressive selection: agricultural rums, candy rums, arranged rums and collectible rums. Gone are the days when he was only considered a sailor's alcohol. Because rum is taking on its rightful place here. There are also spices and all the necessary equipment to make homemade cocktails.
