Maison de la Nature, an association created in 1990, is located within the city walls of Le Palais. You will discover a permanent exhibition on the natural heritage of Belle-Ile (habitat, fauna, flora, geology). Throughout the year, nature activities are organised by the educational team of the CPIE (National union of permanent centres of initiation into the environment): adults and children outings, naturalists courses, group care for a day or a week, natural excursion, organisation of school holidays, volunteers construction sites for the renovation of the natural heritage, "Belle-Ile accessible" stays adapted for guests with reduced mobility, publications on the nature and the environment. An accompaniment in carsharing is available upon request. The "point orange" marked out trails and the blue marker will help you travel 90 kilometers of coasts marked with eagle fern, blackthorn, honeysuckle and gorse. The whole in an invasive sound environment with the cry of the Eurasian oystercatcher or the European shag. A huge breath of marine fresh air!
