CARRIAGE MUSEUM
Former glass factory that became the Calèches museum located in Apremont-sur-Allier, an opportunity to taste the life of a castle.
Formerly a glass factory "for blowing bottles", the stables, built during the first half of the 19th century, have become the Musée des Calèches. A visit to the museum gives you a taste of the life of a castle in a place where broodmares, foals and stallions were surrounded by all the attention they deserved. The whole of the beautifully paved building leaves us dreaming, our imagination carries us away to seek the music of the horses' hooves hammering skilfully on the ground. For the time being, there are nine carriages on display.
