WELL POND
Etang du Puits is the largest pond in Sologne, stretching over the three communes of Argent-sur-Sauldre, Clémont and Cerdon.
The 180-hectare Etang du Puits, built under Napoleon III between 1860 and 1870, regulates the waters of the Sauldre canal. The largest pond in Sologne, it extends over Argent-sur-Sauldre, Clémont and Cerdon. Classified since 1965, it is home to wildlife, fishing and ornithological reserves, with species such as the mute swan. This wooded site offers an inflatable park, a restaurant and numerous activities: sailing, water-skiing, hiking and swimming in summer. A unique blend of nature, leisure and relaxation, ideal for the whole family.
