ST. JULIAN CHURCH

The atypical architecture of the church of Bannay results from the turbulent history between Berry and Burgundy. Regularly damaged by wars and in particular one Hundred Years, the church has to rebuild its choir, whose vault is admirable, to the monks of Saint-Martin de Tours. In 1781, two towers in the pepper were built and the religious building as we see it today. With the destruction and construction that it has undergone, the Church now has a special feature: over 300 years from the great entrance door of the bottom of the chorus. Inside, we discover the beauty of the work of baptismal fonts and the confessional: they are also listed in the Historical Monuments inventory.
