CANAL LATÉRAL À LA LOIRE
From Briare (Loiret) to Digoin (Saône-et-Loire), over a length of 196 km, the lateral canal in the Loire, opened in 1838, allows the batenterie of all kinds of boats, especially those so called pleasure - although still grain transport it! - thanks to the standards of the Freycinet (Class I European template). We will not hesitate to make a few deserts deserved in Belleville-sur-Loire until Cuffy. This beautiful arm of twenty kilometers is surrounded by a free nature because it ties the «last wild river of Europe» and all the most attractive villages, to many titles, each other.
