We're finally lucky enough to welcome Le Comptoir de Mamie Bigoude to the capital of Berry, and what a discovery! The decor, a blend of kitsch granny house and surreal Dali-style world, is breathtaking. And the galettes? Golden and delicious, prepared with excellent ingredients. Add to this the friendliness of the staff and a terrace offering a splendid view of the cathedral. An experience not to be missed: we heartily recommend this address!

Enter the world of Mamie Bigoude, where kitsch and fun decorations dust off the image of crêperies with a quirky tone.
It's in a bright, colorful atmosphere in the heart of the historic town of Bourges, that you can enjoy the delicious galettes and crêpes at the Mamie Bigoude counter in Bourges.
Here, fuchsia comtoise rubs shoulders with gingham antlered deer heads, and covered chandeliers give way to birdcages. Here, you'll discover this grandmother's self-portrait paintings and photos of the "Bigoude" family. You can eat on the sewing-machine table or dine in the four-poster bed, or sit on chairs covered with robes. Perhaps you'd prefer to sit in her canvassed living room, or in her bathroom, or even better, in her kitchen, between her collection of coffee grinders and her "pâte à crêpes" chandelier?

Galette immangeable, du chorizo orange fluo, des épinards et champignons en boîte et on nous dit fait maison car les "cuisinière" ont ouvert des boîtes !!! Galette molle sans goût surmerger par le fromage. Très cher pour ce que c'est. Très déçu. Nous n'avons prit deux bouchées de nos galettes et sommes partis payer cela n'a pas posé problème au personnel.
Attente très très longue alors que pas beaucoup de clients à ce moment là...

Crêpes bien copieuses et très bonnes, décor invraisemblable et cool, les jeunes filles au service très accueillantes , et le patron Axel très sympa .
Au plaisir d'y retourner !
