PHILOMÈNE
In the heart of Bourges, Philomène welcomes you to its chic and cosy little boudoir with floral arabesques from another time. In refined porcelain, you can, during a break, taste quality teas, carefully selected. Teas from the Angelina house in Paris, including Mont-Blanc, in homage to the famous pastry made by the parent company, rue de Rivoli, or organic teas from the Dhénin house, L'Autre Thé. Petit Futé tasted for you Christmas in Moscow, from Dhénin, a Chinese green tea with cinnamon and almond flavours, decorated with orange peels and apple pieces, and sprinkled with cloves and rose petals, as well as a jasmine tea from Angelina. These delicious teas were served that day with a piece of chocolate fondant - pure chocolate! - and a slice of lemon fondant. But you are free to choose between an old-fashioned hot chocolate or a grand cru coffee: here too, you can enjoy gourmet delicacies and quality. Or even to prefer a salty lunch, because at Philomène, from 2pm, you can also eat a plate of smoked salmon with its toast. And if you have been won over by Angelina's teas, you can leave with your favourite tea bought in the small shop in the adjoining lounge, which offers teas, delicacies, decorative objects and original porcelains. An address for connoisseurs or simply for gourmands....
