This festival of short films found its place in the berruyère cultural life. During the Bourges National Meetings, amateur cinema is honoured. For 4 days, the best of some 500 films selected in the clubs of the French Federation Cinema and Video (FFCV) are presented to the public. Some films are awarded by a jury composed of film professionals. Twenty prices are awarded (prices of the City of Bourges, FFCV prices, scenario prices, creativity prices, minute film prices…). The Heart of Video festival is a national meeting and a springboard for amateur filmmakers. The FFCV was founded in 1933. Approved as a popular education movement since 1953, it was recognized as a public utility in 2007.
