This festival is organized around the great organ of Saint-Etienne Cathedral restored in 1985. The festival welcomes internationally renowned artists: organists and vocal or instrumental ensembles. Free organ auditions by young talent take place every Sunday and August. It is an opportunity to discover a little known music of the general public and to highlight the imposing organ of the Cathedral. The association of Friends of the great organ of Saint Etienne Cathedral in Bourges wants to publicize the instrument, promote a cultural and liturgical action around it, respecting the sanctity of the building but also helping to disseminate and understand the organ music and around the organ. It's done with the Very Rich Hours of the Berry Organ!
