Since its creation in 1967, the Cercle Jean Macé Bourges Basketball has made its way. Even though on the professional side, the men's team distinguished itself from the first years by its victories in National 3 and then by its accession to National 2, it is the women's team who will mark the minds as early as 1989 by accessing the National 1. Their inspiring results in Euroligue lead them to the highest round of the podium of this European Championship in 1997, 1998 and 2001. Dedicated to France 12 times since 1995, the Bourges Basketball Club (professional company since 2003) intends to keep its title next season. On the amateur side, the CJMBB association attracts more and more licensees: 450 in 2013. The creation of a handibasket section and a mini-trio @ brand testify to the club's desire to make all basketball practice accessible to all. As a logistics side, the Prado sports palace where the players train at the moment, the project includes the extension of the galleries to 5 000 places.
