The preparatory classes for the major schools at the Alain-Fournier secondary School are designed to prepare, in two years, their students for the competitions of colleges of engineers and higher normal schools such as higher normal schools, polytechnic, mining, central, etc. All of the 1st year («sup») and grade 2 («spé») channels include teaching of mathematics, physics, chemistry, industrial sciences, letters and languages based on the chosen industry (dominance of mathematics or physics and chemistry). High school also has two English and German European channels, as well as several artistic channels (arts, music, theatre…). In the field of living languages, we teach English, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
