Created in 1985, at the initiative of families of sick people and professionals in the health and social sector, Alzheimer's France is today the only national association recognized as a public utility in the field of Alzheimer's disease and related diseases. To meet the needs and expectations of families affected by the disease, as always to better inform and raise public awareness, it relies on a network of over 100 departmental associations and over 200 proximity antennas facilitated by several thousand volunteers. France Alzheimer trains family caregivers, volunteers, care professionals, offers adequate holiday stays, contributes to medical research and ensures constant contact with the public authorities.
