ASSOCIATION ROUTE JACQUES-CŒUR
Born in 1954 on the initiative of the owners of the castles of Culan, Ainay-le-Vieux and Meillant, the Jacques-Coeur road is an historic route to discover castles in the heart of France. Today the circuit has 18 steps with 3 public monuments: Gien Castle, Jacques Cœur Palace, Noirlac Abbey, 8 private castles: La Verrerie, La Chapelle d 'Angillon, Menetou-Salon, Pesselières, Meillant, Ainay-le-Vieux, Sagonne, Peufeilhoux, 7 cities: Sancerre, Aubigny-sur-Nère, Bourges, Mehun-sur-Yèvre, Saint-Amand-Montrond, Argent-sur-Sauldre, Dun-sur-Auron. The Jacques Cœur Lien Pass allows you to enjoy a reduced rate at more than 30 tourist sites and towns of the Berry for one year. Notice to the Sherlock Holmes! Some twenty «Crime at the Castle» animations are organized from April to November on some sites: they allow to visit the scene while solving a crime…
