CHAPELLE DE SAINTE JEANNE DE FRANCE
In the enclosure of the Bourges monastery, the chapel of Sainte Jeanne is now used for worship and military chaplaincy.
The monastery enclosure, acquired by Bourges in 1834 and ceded to the State in 1857, housed the chapel of Sainte-Jeanne, part of the Annonciade Convent founded in 1503. It was divided into 2 parts: a choir for the nuns and one for the brothers. The chapel, restored in 1961, is now used for worship and military chaplaincy, with military offices on site. The communion rail and Stations of the Cross were designed by Jacques Avoinet of Thiais.
