Housed in the Hôtel des Échevins, the museum is home to the works of Maurice Estève (1904-2001), a painter from Culan. He has given Bourges a remarkable collection that traces the development of his work. The chronological tour shows his passage from figurative to abstract painting, where light and balance dominate. Inspired by the great masters such as Cézanne and Poussin, Estève painted until 1998. This museum invites you to discover an artist whose work combines innovation and visual poetry.
