From 1808 to 1955, all Dun-sur-Auron lived by and for the canal: submarine, lock, cooks, carpenters… Indeed, the waterway had generated intense activity. Set in the old concierge of the city, the museum recounts this intense time of the commune through objects, photos, testimonies and films. A projection room and a sonorisée room offer an interactive visit to the visitors. At the end of the visit, we even become a marinier of the Berry Canal!
