RENAUD CASTLE
Insolite and intriguing, Château-Renaud is imposing it on its powerful foundation, which clearly determines that we are facing a relatively rare and original construction. Excellence at the somewhat grandiose proportions of the castle of Château-Renaud is adorned with the arms of the Briçonnet family of Oizonville, entrepreneur of the reconstruction of the castle from 1673, on the ruins of a fortified base of the xie century. Centuries of history therefore contemplate the summer visitor of this residence, whose vast courtyard of honor flanked by walls pierced by murderers and authentically feudal truths easily testifies to the origin of the building. The contrast between times is glaring truth. Since the nineteenth century, the park has been deported from the axis of the castle and is perhaps one of the great charms of Château-Renaud.
