SAINT-AIGNAN CHURCH
Somewhat oversized, Saint-Aignan Church is also known as the "Cathedral of the Fort Fort". Rare for the region, almost unusual since built during the Renaissance, more precisely at the end of the fifteenth century, it is a medieval structure consisting of a long nef, a transept and an abside. It is a ship built on the foundations of a church of the xiith century, giving it a massivity without interest: it is difficult to escape its presence. The porch that chairs it is the oldest part. Restored in the nineteenth century, it offers a wall fresco near the baptismal fonts, polychrome statues and other wall paintings framing an altar. The seven-panned, completely Gothic-gothic, with its translucent windows, gives the long nef a light light. The association La Petite Cathedral du Pays Fort often organizes concerts in this area classified as Historic Monument in 1862.
