A feudal castle with an collection on Albania, mass is celebrated in the chapel every Sunday.

Located on the Route Jacques-Cœur, this feudal castle was fortified by Gillon de Seuly, founder of the town, at the end of the 11th century. Bordered by a moat, surrounded by round towers and a keep, and overlooking a pond, it is furnished and inhabited, but open to the public. Count Jean d'Ogny, the château's owner, opens the doors and gives a tour of his residence, which has been home to the Lords of La Chapelle-d'Angillon, Princes of Boisbelle, Sully, the Princess of Albret, the Princess of Cleves (who served as a model for Mme de La Fayette's famous novel), Gonzague Prince of Boisbelle and the Duke of Nevers. Inside, the tour takes in all the rooms, distributed by narrow staircases. This castle of Romanesque proportions houses a collection of 18th-century Albanian art that is unique and quite astonishing in Europe. You can attend Sunday mass in the castle's beautiful chapel, traditionally celebrated at 10 a.m. every Sunday. The welcome is worthy of the great hospitality tradition. The owners' passions bring this place to life, and they'll be delighted to show you their favorites. The château can be rented for weddings and other ceremonies.
