MANOR HOUSE
Located in the south of La Guerche-sur-l 'Aubois towards Germigny-l' Exempt, the manor of Chezelles is a beautiful building - whose body of logis dates from the end of the fifteenth century - to the medieval architecture characterized by a guet tower and an outdoor gallery. If the manor in itself does not visit because it is a private place, its approaches have been open to the public since 1996. It is an opportunity to admire the architecture of the manor and to uncover its gargouilles, including a raven simulating a head of madness. The ensemble has been the subject of several renovations including a lull and a barn of the eighteenth century. Archeological remains show the permanence of the site's occupation since the Gallo-Roman era.
