Located on the banks of the Berry canal, this centre is dedicated to the architectural and landscape heritage of the Pays Loire Val d'Aubois, with the Pays d'art et d'histoire label. It occupies the former Sauvard factory and its museography is based around an early 20th century Hoffmann oven with two parallel galleries 32 m long. A sensitive experience with models, films and sound testimonies in six themes: water, earth, fire, men, terracotta and... bats.
