MUSEUM OF RURAL ARTS AND TRADITIONS OF BERRY
The Chateau Castle stands on the edge of the Arnon, surrounded by ditches in water. We discover this building which offers us a sampling of architectural styles with discreet touches: Gothic elegance, classical rigor, eighteenth century pastoral charm, neo-Gothic dissonance in the spirit of Viollet-le-Duc. At the museum, a Thiaulin (member of the eponymous association who preserves the traditions of Berry) commends us with many details of the objects and images of the Berrichon heritage, gathered by its association. Exhibitions are regularly proposed: Hemp and wool, Peasant peasants in George Sand's work, Do not lose it and eat it in Berry, Over time: Water, Peasant Generations… An interesting museum that allows to dive into the heart of Berrichan traditions.
