THE GARDENS OF THE PRIORY OF OUR LADY OF ORSAN
A place of peace and quiet, where you can admire daffodils, crocuses, roses and vines, as well as an orchard and vegetable garden.
A small corner of paradise in the heart of the Berry. In this priory classified as Historical Monuments, Sonia Lesot and Patrice Taravella, two architects, were able to recreate medieval monastic gardens. Thanks to the gardener Gilles Guillot, the gardens are both a place of relaxation and tranquility and a lively and lively place: the visitor participates, discover, exchange, surprise… In the spring you will enjoy fruit trees in bloom. In May you will be able to contemplate the roses of all colors. At the end of the summer, you will enjoy the colors of the autumn. The master gardener knows how to maintain this place where every corner seems to be trimmed with scissors. The lawn are real carpets that we hesitate to mess with. Benches hide in the barrels or lock the foot of the trees. In 2017, the priory changed hands, bought by Gareth Casey and Cyrille Pearson.
