MENETOU-SALON CASTLE
This neo-Gothic style castle has belonged to the French branch of the Princes of Arenberg since the 18th century.
Residence of Jacques Coeur, King Charles VII's great treasurer in the 15th century, the château has belonged to the French branch of the Princes of Arenberg since the 18th century. Partly inhabited, it nevertheless opens its doors to visitors. A guide in period costume tells the story of this neo-Gothic château. The Arenbergs are automobile enthusiasts, and have bequeathed an impressive collection of vintage cars to the estate for you to admire. The château's vineyards produce wines that are sold exclusively to visitors.
