THE TOWER OF VESVRE
Built around 1200 by Hugues de Vesvre, descendant of the Norman invaders, Vesvre Tower always overlooks its clay promontory. Inhabited until 1961, this medieval fort, now owned by the commune of Neuvy-deux-Clochers, was classified as a historic monument in 1993. During the high season, the members of the Friends of the Tour de Vesvre are pleased to guide you in your visit and to tell you the history of this monument to the remarkable architecture. Special mention of the dodger. This association is dedicated to research on the tower and its maintenance.
